Authentic Adventures

Welcome to Ecocamps Indonesia, where sustainability, community benefits, and immersive cultural experiences intertwine! Our first camp is nestled along the cliffs near the captivating village of Wae Rebo, Flores – where we provide a harmonious retreat overlooking the breathtaking Savu Sea. Along this 3km uninhabited beach we are free from light pollution, traffic and the distractions of modern life.

Ecocamps Indonesia – making a difference

Low energy, low noise, minimal light pollution. Ecocamps Indonesia are low impact by design and by passion. The site is powered by LPG and solar PV, with most higher energy inputs such as laundry done off-site at the community co-op facilities. Ecocamp’s zero waste and zero chemical policy means only homemade biodegradable soaps and cleaning products are used, and refuse left by visitors is taken back to the village for recycling, composting or disposal.
Visitors are required to follow strict guidelines to minimise their noise and disturbance to the beach and forest ecosystems.
Stay at the Eco Camp for your journey to Wae Rebo, exploration of Flores is an authentic experience before or after a visit to Komodo National Park…or simply as a break from hectic modern life.
